McKeil Marine has become an industry leader in the transportation of project and general cargo. With a barge fleet in excess of 40 units, ranging in size from 500 to 12,000 DWT,
we have been transporting general and oversized cargo and heavy equipment since 1956.

Through the innovative engineering of our equipment and to meet the demands of our customers, we have developed a solid reputation for our ability to transport oversized and heavy lift cargoes safely and on schedule.

Specialized project cargos are transported on flat deck barges equipped with portable systems that allow for controlled loading and discharge operations.

In order to better serve the general cargo market, McKeil Marine has acquired barges ranging in size from 10,000 to 20,000 square feet. These barges have been used to transport construction materials, machinery and pre-fab units such as boilers, transformers, duct systems, vacuum towers and machinery.
